Choose a color scheme--not necessarily the same colors as the example provide, but rather the same relationships. For example, if you want to try a complementary color scheme, you might consider doing a painting with violets and yellows.
Get out your circle composition again, and let's make a painting. If you're sick of your circle composition, you are welcome to do a new geometric composition with circles or squares. I'd prefer that you do this with acrylic paint, if possible, but I'm open to other options. This painting's largest dimension should be at least 11 inches.
There are two important things: 1. The colors in your painting should reflect the color scheme you have chosen. 2. The edges should be as perfect as possible. You will need a good sable brush to accomplish these hard, geometric edges.
